New competencies through research and development to Henkaus’ contactless respimeter
Thanks to the ongoing research and development project Henkaus is introducing new features to its unique contactless respimeter product. Main objectives of the current project are enhancing the existing product and conducting pilots with the relevant stakeholders.
Henkaus has incorporated an external heart rate detection device to its existing product and platform as well as conducted pilots with stakeholders in Bangalore, India and Lahti, Finland. In addition to enhancing the existing product Henkaus has also laid the groundwork for its analytical platform. The current research and development project also supports the company’s market analysis and market research work through customer meetings and feedback acquired from pilots. The information created through cooperation with stakeholders plays an extremely important role especially in developing new service entities for the homecare, telemedicine and assisted living market segments.

Henkaus’s research and development work has been supported by the ELY Business Development grant which is part of the European Regional Development Fund’s funding. Grant size is fifty three thousand nine hundred and sixty two euros.
